Support Programme

Sole Practitioners are the backbone of the profession nationwide. We have always therefore felt it incumbent on Goldsmiths Practice Services LLP to research carefully the state of the market place with regard to sole practitioners and to provide support in certain areas where appropriate and as requested by you. We are therefore pleased to present here a view on the future for Sole Practitioners together with solutions. We look forward to working with you.

Sole Practitioners Annual Report 2008

Following our survey of sole practitioners I would like to set out the current state of play and offer some solutions. Sole practitioners mostly fall into one of three categories. The first level are practitioners usually turning over up to £100,000 and often working from home. Some do have small offices with perhaps one or two full time or part time employees. The vast majority of practitioners working from home tend not to be involved in audits.
